Sallu has been imparting gyan about acting to students!
Salman Khan has just added yet another prefix to his name — Professor. The actor has been lecturing students at Subhash Ghai’s Whistling Woods International at Film City.
Says Ghai, “Salman has been coming to the institute at my request. I have to keep calling him back due to popular demand. He doesn’t behave like a star. He feels extremely comfortable at Whistling Woods. Salman loves interacting with the students. He’s very patient with them.”
It is learnt that at one session, he shared his experiences as an actor and his experiences working with different directors.
Ghai adds that he is bowled over with Salman’s knowledge after every session which lasts for a hour-and-a-half.
“I’m very impressed with Salman’s intelligence, charisma, wisdom and wit. He even cracks joke about himself.”
Last week, Salman spoke about how important personality development was for on-screen appearances. Ghai says, “He never prepares for his lectures but is very spontaneous. Sometimes, he talks on the importance of working out and bodybuilding. Salman tells the students not to push their body when they are young but to behave like beginners. He told them that he had overloaded himself during Maine Pyar Kiya and asks them not to do the same. It is because that he took care later that he could survive for 22 years in the industry.”
What was Aamir Ali doing with Sallu?
TV actor Aamir Ali was spotted with Salman Khan at Whistling Woods. It is learnt that Sallu has become fond of Aamir, especially after the Nach Baliye finale where Khan made an appearance. Says a source, “David Dhawan, who was a judge on Nach Baliye, has been telling Salman about him.” Aamir, who was also in Film City at the same time, had Salman take him along to Whistling Woods. Apparently, Salman wants Aamir to act in his home production, co-produced by Boney Kapoor, which stars Arbaaz Khan. Aamir is currently seen in 9X’s Kya Dil Mein Hai.
